Another great moment in the history of Fighting Illini basketball was during the NCAA tournament in 2005. Watch as Deron Williams and Luther Head lead the team to victory from a seemingly insurmountable 15 point deficit late in the game.

For the rest of you… A 1989 Fighting Illini Basketball team that would ultimately be defeated in the Final Four had some great moments that season. This was possibly one of the most exciting single moments in the history of Illini Basketball.
