Isn’t Life Strange?

As all the news outlets have been reporting and as the forecast models have predicted, it appears that Gustav will strike Louisiana sometime tomorrow. I’m not certain what it will do here but given the local weather forecasts and the general path of the storm, we might get some rain out of the deal.

The cable news this morning was showing traffic from Louisiana heading into Houston and cars lining up at gas stations on the east side of town.

I can’t help but wonder what will be said and the accusations that will be made after the storm has finished doing its thing. I have several thoughts about this but it would probably be in bad taste to say anything at this time - and I don’t want to be “that guy”.

I just hope and pray that the good people of Louisiana are safe and out of the path of destruction.
