Isn’t Life Strange?

Not much has changed with Ike’s forecast track since this morning. It is still projected to make landfall somewhere between Freeport and Galveston as a Category 3 storm. By late afternoon tomorrow I expect there to be tropical storm force winds in my neighborhood. By about midnight or perhaps even earlier, we’ll be seeing sustained winds of 80 miles per hour. Keep in mind that I live about eighty miles from the beach.

Ike may only be a Category 2 storm right now, but it is a monster. Take a look at the latest radar image.
