The Original Moody Blues
Published November 13th, 2008 in Videos, MusicIt’s hard to believe that at one time there was another version of The Moody Blues. Prior to the day that nineteen year old Justin Hayward joined the band and quickly penned “Nights in White Satin”, The Moody Blues had a completely different sound.
Take a look at this blast from the past and you will see an outstanding performance by the original lineup, including longtime MB members Ray Thomas (harmonica, flute, sax), Graeme Edge (drums), and Mike Pinder (keyboards). The second song in the video is “Go Now”, that lineup’s most popular song.
