Adventures in Walt’s World, Part 7
Published December 6th, 2008 in Journal, DisneyDinner tonight was at Artist Point, a Disney Signature Restaurant located in the Wilderness Lodge. I’ve dined there in the past and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and food.
I enjoyed the wonderfully delicious Smoky Portobello Soup, and a main course of Roasted Chicken Breast. I asked the waiter to substitute hazelnut butter potatoes for the chorizo and cannellini bean ragout on the menu and was not disappointed. For dessert I ordered the Artist Point Cobbler, a tasty treat with fresh berries and homemade ice cream. As expected, the food was very good. Service was slow and I sensed that my waiter was not as interested in my table as he was in others. While the slow service was a bit frustrating, it thankfully was not enough to ruin a delicious meal.
