It was a bit on the cool side today. I know those of you from home probably aren’t interested in my idea of cool weather right now, but folks here were wearing long sleeves and more. The nice warm Florida sun helped make the afternoon pleasant.

I decided to revisit the Magic Kingdom and take my chances with the crowd. Although the crowds were fairly large in the park, the wait times for the attractions were relatively short.

Two attractions I try and see every time I visit the Magic Kingdom are The Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion. The posted time at the Haunted Mansion was 30 minutes, but due to the efficient design of that attraction, I was only in line for about 15 minutes before moving inside to the pre-show. The wait at Pirates of the Caribbean was only 5 minutes. Gotta love it.

I also decided to ride the Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster and watched the afternoon parade as it passed through Liberty Square.

Dinner tonight was at Citricos, another one of Disney’s Signature Restaurants located in the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. By the way, if you ever visit Walt Disney World, I recommend a visit to the Grand Floridian, just to see what an amazing place it is. Like the other signatures, Citricos is nicely decorated and the wait staff is professional and helpful. For dinner, I had the Grilled Swordfish Provencal with Pappardelle Pasta Al Olio with Crushed Olives, Black Olive Oil, and Basil Coulis. Dessert was a small but rich piece of pumpkin cheesecake. Everything at dinner was outstanding. The food was as good as any of the other fine meals I’ve enjoyed here.

Here are a couple of photos from today. You can see more by clicking here.

Ok, I finally broke down and looked. **sniff, sniff** I am sooooo homesick. You have some great pictures that I would have not thought to take. (And some that are very similar to mine…I notice the gorilla is still sitting in the same place where I left him in September!) I’m sorry you had a bad experience at WGP. I should’ve told you to have the macademia nut chicken…it’s the best thing I’ve ever had there. Still, I think I could pass it up next time. Did you ever ride ToT or Aerosmith???
