How cool is this?
By accident I finally discovered a full-length video of the “Top Seven Must-Sees at Walt Disney World” program that runs on the in-house cable television network in the resorts there. The show is hosted by the lovely and perky Stacy Aswad. This is a slightly older version of the show that played when […]
This is hilarious.
How do they get these commercials ready so quickly?
I grew up knowing only the “And Then There Were Three” version of the band Genesis, so it’s a little strange to watch something so different. Here they are back in their younger days when when Peter Gabriel led the band.
The performance is a little off, but the video is excellent. […]
Turtle Talk is an attraction at Epcot that I haven’t visited. Take a look at a nice video of Crush interacting with the audience. I’d love to see how the technology works.

Yesterday Was A "Horrible" Day
0 Comments Published July 21st, 2008 in Entertainment, On The Web, VideosThanks again to my friend Dave, who has shocked the blogosphere by posting not one, but TWO blog entries over the past weekend, I caught the free showings of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog before it was pulled from the net late last night.

Watch this amazing duel from the 1979 Formula 1 French Grand Prix between legendary Canadian driver Giles Villeneuve, driving for Ferrari, and Frenchman Rene Arnoux, driving for Renault.
You can see a longer, broadcast version of the battle in this video.
Here’s a video similar to the Ferrari video I posted a few days ago. It appears to be from the mid 1990’s and is exactly the same kind of demonstration, highlighting the power and speed of a modern Formula 1 race car.

The Little VW That Could… (Yeah, right)
0 Comments Published June 15th, 2008 in Entertainment, VideosI just finished watching the end of Herbie Fully Loaded (Yeah, my life is an exciting one).
Like the other Love Bug movies from the 1960’s, “Fully Loaded” is intended to be fun, frivolous entertainment. But I do have one issue with the film. Let’s suspend belief for a moment and assume that we […]
I don’t remember if I have posted this before, but it’s always good for a laugh.
“This man is Ernest Scribbler, writer of jokes. In a few moments he will have written the funniest joke in the world, and as a consequence, he will die laughing…”
Another great moment in the history of Fighting Illini basketball was during the NCAA tournament in 2005. Watch as Deron Williams and Luther Head lead the team to victory from a seemingly insurmountable 15 point deficit late in the game.
